Getting Back to Work
Getting back to work can be difficult and often quite daunting. This process can become even harder if your skills are not as up to date as they could be, which is why we are offering a chance for you to enhance your skills and make progress towards gaining you LGV driver qualification card. Having these skills and qualifications will make you more employable and much more likely to find a job.
How it Works
Throughout July we are offering a number of free places on some of our LGV Driver CPC Periodic training courses* in Stoke-on-Trent to any local unemployed drivers. To be eligible for these course you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must live in Stoke-on-Trent
- Must be a professional LGV driver and possess a licence to drive category C, C1, C+E, C1+E vehicles
- Must be registered unemployed in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance
Saturday 6th July – Eco-driving & Dynamic Risk Assessment
Saturday 13th July – Customer Focus & Driver Health and Wellbeing
Saturday 20th July – Drivers Vehicle Checks & Safe Loading
